Lindsay Branton is a registered kinesiologist with a strong passion for concussion rehabilitation and patient-centered care. After experiencing multiple concussions and persistent post-concussion syndrome firsthand, she dedicated her career to helping others navigate the complexities of concussion recovery.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She has completed advanced training in concussion care, including certification in Concussion Management from Concussion Rehab Lab, as well as Cervical Assessment and Management in Concussion, and Ocular Motor Issues in Concussion for Manual Therapists. She continues to expand her expertise and will be attending the Symposium on Clinical Neuroscience in May 2025 while also completing a Medical Neuroscience course from Duke University.
Her approach to concussion care is holistic, individualized, and focused on empowering patients. She understands that no two concussions are the same and emphasizes education, giving patients the tools they need to take control of their recovery. Lindsay is committed to helping patients return to their daily lives as efficiently and safely as possible, always prioritizing their long-term well-being.
Beyond her work in concussion rehabilitation, Lindsay has extensive experience in musculoskeletal care. She has completed the McGill Method for Low Back Rehabilitation, including courses on Foundation for a Pain-Free Back, Assessment, and Enhancing Performance. She completed multiple internships with Dr. Melanie Abbott-Cambridge and Dr. Cambridge, leading to an immediate invitation to join their healthcare team.
In addition to her clinical work, Lindsay is the co-owner of TrainMeFit Brampton, a gym she runs alongside her husband, Brennon. TrainMeFit focuses on providing safe, effective, and adaptable fitness programs that help community members improve their strength, mobility, and overall quality of life in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Lindsay is deeply committed to continuing education and staying at the forefront of concussion research and rehabilitation. Whether working with athletes, individuals recovering from accidents, or those struggling with persistent symptoms, she strives to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
